Ds has requested chicken and dumplings so that's what we are having. Maybe some raw veggies and dip too. It' supposed to snow later today and all night so that sounds good to me too.

Take some rice, broth, little garlic and throw it on top of the chicken and bake at 350 for about 45 minutes to an hour.

We are having left over beef tenderloin.

We're having broiled fish, fruit, bread, and some sort of steamed veggie.
Angie every time I take out chicken I end up pondering what to do with it. I think it's because it's so versatile. We're having chicken tomorrow with fat free cream cheese, cream soup, italian seasoning, and some red and black pepper. I serve that over rice or pasta.

I'm going to be putting a roast in the crockpot this morning with potatoes and carrots. YUM! Neither of my dks like cooked carrots so I will just give them raw ones.

Angie- we had teriyaki chicken on Saturday night served over rice. My dh even used some of the left over chicken to top a salad and said it was really good.

JAK and I are on the same wave length... I've already got the Roast/onions going in the crockpot and a little later will add the potato's and carrots. I'll also add (not to the crockpot... lol) bread/salad to the menu and that will be it.

We are going to have roast beef, roast potatoes and carrots and yorkshire puddings, with gravy too. This is the first time in awhile that DH will be home in time for supper, so we are all going to sit at the table together, what a treat.

I am going to do it in the oven though, maybe next time I will try the crock pot.

Maybe I will do an apple crisp for dessert for a nice change, the dk's dont like so maybe I will let them have a chocolate pudding or ssome raw apple if they want.

Cant wait till supper it sure will be nice to have Dh home, but tomorrow night it is back to just my and the kids since DH has to work.

I'm thinking the sugar cookies dd and I made today will be good. lol. dd and I are going grocery shopping during class so maybe we'll find something good and quick then. Or it's soup and sandwiches. hmmmm....

I ended up cooking all the chicken in the crock pot. I pulled out half and bbq'd it for tomorrow night. The rest of the chicken I left in the crockpot and added, carrot/peas and cream of chicken soup. Kind of like a chicken pot pie? I made a ton of mashed potatoes and put some up in the freezer. I also baked chocolate chip and sugar cookies.

I came home late from work today...it's already after 5, and nothing is prepared

It might just be a soup, salad and sandwich night.

Hopefully we will be having chicken and broccoli fettucini. I bought everything to make it and have put it all on the counter and told ds that I worked all day, got groceries after school, paid bills , so HE can make supper for us!

If anybody has any leftovers......I'll be there around eight!

Oh, one saving grace....have dessert left over from last night....who knows - that may become the main course for tonight!
