A little trick my dd showed me.

I just clicked on the IMG icon on reply board, entered the URL and presto image appeared on post.

You can also do it the longer way by typing the whole thing in yourself
[ IMG ] URL [ /IMG ] (delete the spaces between brackets and IMG.)

It was difficult finding icons that would work, but I found a few I'll have to double check the web address and post it for you.
