    Welcome Kim. I teach kdg. I may be picking your brain some. I always manage to take on alot of special needs kids that can be mainstreamed into reg. ed. Other teachers tend not to want to and I'm willing it's just so much stress and hard work. At the end of the year I say someone else is just going to have to take the next one, but after summer break I usually change my mind. I always feel like it's better to take them on into a classroom with someone willing to work a little harder than into a classroom with a teacher who resents them and would prefer they be isolated in spec. ed.
