Sunday of this long weekend!

I'm up early, feeling much better. I don't have much in the way of plans for today, but I have to teach my religion class tonight. I am so ready for the Holiday tomorrow. Some relaxing, doing fun things and de-stressing. Can't wait to see what the girls have planned. I sure hope it fits in with my plans....LOL

Good morning to everyone. It's a really grey rainy day here today it makes everything look so gloomy, but the grass really needed it. So much for my gardening today (I did get a chance to do it yesterday).

So far plans today....none

Didn't get as much achieved yesterday as I wanted to ....maybe today I'll have some time to go shopping. Stores open here today at 12:00, so that would be the best time to go.

Boys have hockey games tonight so that will be my evening Actually I enjoy going; it's so cute especially when younger ds says after every game "I almost scored a goal, but for sure I got an assistant "

Not much happening today......... dh WILL be repairing the closet rod that broke LAST week as I was trying to pack for my trip.
I'll probably get the Halloween boxes up to the attic today and catch up on laundry.

I'm stiff this a.m. b/c I spent part of the night on the sofa. Grrr..... I got up @ 3 a.m. and used dd's bathroom (to be considerate of dh sleeping, and not use the one in our room) - well, it ran a little bit, woke him up and he fussed at me for making "such a stupid choice to use her bathroom, when you've got one right here."
Man, that made me mad - here I am getting yelled at, at 3 freakin' a.m. for trying to do something thoughtful............ geez.
Soooo, he's on my bad list today.

I went to sleep last night at 10 and slept till 7:30 this am..all the way through!!!!!!!!!!!
getting ready to wake everyone for church, but I am enjoying the quiet. Think ds is going to play golf this afternoon, not sure what the rest of us are up to.

Morning All!

Not much going on today. Just catch up on some work. And doing some laundry.

Lastnight was cool. we went to movie which stunk. Then applebees for dinner...It was really good food. We had a blast. I need to do that more often...Big stress reliever!

Got into a fight with best friend (again) and I think I'm done with this whole thing. It's been such a one sided friendship forever and I'm starting to get fustrated that she never even asks how I'm doing! Everytime we talk its's all about her.

My mom came to get my little brother last night, brought my ds home and then stayed for supper. We had steak and shrimp. My niece and nephew spent the night & we'll meet my mom later to get them home. Dh has a football meeting tonight - they won again Friday night and will be playing at the dome this week! I want to run to target today, not much else planned.

Morning all....gloomy here...little light rain still happening....going to work out after dh finishes his walk He has discovered how great my tredmill is....

Had the worst night last night...had some sinus pressure in my head...took tylenol sinus NON drowsey...well...I was up all night...tossing and turning...the pressure in my head never did go away....both kids were sleeping in dd's room...so I went into ds's...had the night sweats...and was up every hour on the hour...it was the longest night ever....today I took tylenol and am doing the kleenex thing....man I hate sinus stuff....ARGH...

not much really planned today...light house work, light laundry, and maybe a trip to the book store....

Renee - sorry to hear you had such a bad night.... I get the sinus thing every fall (have escaped it so far this year). Hope you feel better soon.

Vea - I'm going through something similar to you w/the friend thing..... sorry to hear it. Sometimes you have to sit back and ask, what does this person bring to my life.... if it's nothing positive, then it may be time to move on. Good luck.

After noon all!

Slept in this morning for a little while. Ran into town and got groceries. Our store have Turkey cards where they punch a hole in for every $5 you spend. After so many punches you get a free 10-12 lb. turkey. I got mine finished today so next time I go in I can get a Turkey. We have one of those Turkey cooker things that we haven't been able to try out yet.

The kids are down stair supposedly cleaning. I'll believe it when I see it though.

Dh shot a doe last night but couldn't find it for anything so he's back out today to see if he can find it and possibly shoot another. It could be that it wasn't fatally wounded anyway. He always hates it when he can't find one he shoots at. He feels so bad for doing that.

I have homework and house cleaning to do. I probalby should make some cookies or snack type stuff for the week.

I need to finish up the ornaments too. Just a forewarning, my ornaments are about as simple as you can get, so I hope you all won't be too disappointed when you open them.

Cathy, do you get a day off for Veteran's Day?? How do you all get days like that off? Around here only the Banks, Post office and government jobs get off. Schools still run as scheduled.

Our schools close for all the federal holidays. If you don't get mail--school's closed. You'll notice that we go all the way through the end of June to get in our 180 days. I'm always impatient for summer vacation to start, but I do like the days off. I guess I'm used to it this way.

ROFL! It's the place where the Twins and Vikings play! It's a big deal for them to get this far and if they win this week they only need to win one more to be State Champs!

Hope he finds it!! My dad is in northern MN hunting - I am hoping he gets one this year!!!

Let me know how the turkey cooker works out when you try it. i think we talked about them here last year and I think it'd be yummy.
