I am teaching my preschool class about mail and trying to teach them their addresses...any suggestions for ideas or activities to make this more fun?

The card aisle at your local Walmart often has extra colored envelopes from holiday cards that they are willing to give away. Our students love to write "letters" using these. Also, we have used a packing box from an appliance store and made our own huge mailboxes.
You could have each child "write" a letter(draw a picture) to someone else in the class Address it to their homes and mail it. My old class love to get mail. I send them a letter every so often. It's exciting!
Our children had to create and send letters via usmail home to their family. Then we had to send them a letter at their school.
