    sweet cravings

Anyone else have those and how do you stop them? I have NO self control when it comes to sweet and I crave them each and every day. To the point when I am obsessed thinking about them. HELP- how to I make them stop? Or at least what I can I eat that isn't too bad, but will make the cravings stop?

Could you eat just one of those Halloween sized candy bars?
    Would yogurt help, fruit?
    Drinking water?

Jen, good luck! I've had the same problem lately. Mine is more like just needing my mouth to be chewing on something - but the choc. cravings have been abnormal lately.

I chew gum, suck on those tootsie roll pops (gotta brush afterwards) and found some good chocolate meringue cookies last night that are fat free 80 cal. for 4 (and they are about the size of a biscuit). They satisfied my craving.

Ugh! What is it? I have been the same way! I have been trying to drink chai tea, which is sweet and fills me up - we'll see if that works at all. I also buy the Blue Bunny Health Smart ice cream bars. They have choc, choc/vanilla swirl and raspberry/van and orange/vanilla swirl. They;re made with Splenda and only have 70 calories I believe. If I have to have candy I try to eat licorice, tootsie rolls or Jr Mints.

Ann - For me - a Halloween size candy bar would do the trick if I could stay away from the rest of the bag.

You gals have some good ideas. I'll have to look to see if I can find those Blue Bunny ice cream bar things. Sounds good.

Renee- I actually have some life savers I bought the other day. We'll see if those help.

Ann- I'd eat the WHOLE bag of candy bars. But yogurt might work and at least it has calcium in it!

I love those things. Youngest ds, too - I try to tell him to eat the "regular" ice cream treats in the freezer, but he always wants "mine".

Slimfast makes snack bars. In Canada, there are 4 different ones available. 3 of them are so-so (and are 3 points), but there is one that is really good and only 2 points. It is the crunchy peanut butter one that is covered in chocolate. It tastes just like a Crispy Crunch bar

I also eat fat free , sugar free fudgesicles that are only 1 point

I was gonna say the same thing about those marinque cookies. My cousin had them the other day and they were really good. She had chocolate rasberry.

I find that I crave chocolate more when I've had it recently...so I cut down on how often I have it and my craving lessings some.

    Good luck!
