    Yippee....it's Friday!

and I'm first on the boards. Couldn't sleep great last night, my time of the month, so needless to say ....I'm in a *&%#@y mood so far today

Good news is I am not working today. Gonna get my colour done to try and hide those awful looking roots. Really don't have a lot planned so far today.

Dh and my dad worked on the skating rink last week....just need a couple more boards for the frame to be done. The weather is slowly getting colder so maybe I'll pop into Home Depot and get the rest of the wood so they can finish it tomorrow.

    Whatcha ya'll doin'?

Marla, you could be like me and be a b*tch all the time! LOL You have a skating rink in your backyard????
    Kathy, welcome home!

A front came in today and it's 57 right now and only up to 64!!!! We were supposed to go to the theatre tonite to see The Full Monty, but dd's babysitter could sit long and ds is going to a dance, so we just ended up giving our tickets to my aunt. We are going to meet some friends for a quickie dinner. We are having a happy hour on the street tonite too, so I will drop by.

I love Fridays! Ds2 is one today... sniff! This year has gone so incredibly fast. We're doing the party thing tomorrow with family, so that should be nice.

Nothing out of the ordinary here today.

    Marla, hugs.
    Ann, your day sounds full.
Pam, happy b-day to your ds.
    Kathy, welcome home.

Work today. Ds went to school, he seems better...I really think it was just too much candy. Don't know what's on for the evening hours.

no school here today for teacher inservice, then they have school on monday and then tuesday off, think someone could have arranged that better!
But I am glad for the day off, been very hectic around here lately, had sil and fil here for a couple of days, which was nice as we don't see them often, and have had cakes orders almost everyday, plus extra gym hours with doing gym birthday parties.
We have snow covering the ground now, and cold temps.,I think winter is here to stay.

PamE-Wow, I cant believe he's a year already, happy birthday to your ds!

Full house here today as there is no school for students and I have two extra dck's because of it. Should be fun for my dks because the two that will be here are old dck's that we don't see very often now that they are in school.

Cleaning tonight as I have a Partylite party at my house Sunday afternoon. I was supposed to have a dck tomorrow but now it looks like I won't. His dad went to CA to go to school for a few weeks and ended up in the hospital with something wrong with his liver. He's possibly being released today and if so he's getting on the plane and coming home tonight. That's the second dc dad of mine to end up in the hospital in a week! Another one had his appendix out last Thursday.

Still have the cold and cough and a slight pain still in my shoulder but at least that's almost gone!

Supposed to snow here this weekend. YUCK!

It's a day off for us today! I went into the clinic to get a flu shot this morning, and I'm taking dks to their doctor to get flu shots this afternoon. We'll probably run a couple of errands, and hopefully rent Finding Nemo for tonight. Dh is going to see the new Matrix movie with his friend tonight. Tomorrow ds2 is in his first TaeKwonDo tournament. He's so excited...and kind of nervous. It'll be a great experience for him. Dh will be taking him to that...and ds1 and I are working at the craft fair at our school/church for the morning. I'm working at the admissions table....and ds is selling candy with the scouts. It'll be a busy Saturday...but definately a fun one!

    Pam-Happy 1st birthday to DS...

Yes a year does go by fast. DS#3 walked a week before his first birthday. Yesterday I took him for his 1 year shots and he weighs 22.5 lbs.

Taking my dog into the vet today to get her stitches removed.
No DCK's today their Mom has the day off. Gonna do a little cleaning to and maybe get some scrapbooking done.

It has been cold here a high of 11 F yesterday.

    Thats about it for here.

Me and the boys got ours done yesterday.

Pam....happy birthday to your ds The year has flown by so quickly.

Ann...this year we decided to try to build a skating rink for the winter. Seeing as both boys are soooo into hockey, I thought it would be great practice for them. Two of our friends have built them for the past 2 years so I thought we'd give it a try. Once we get it up and going I'll try to post some pictures of it.

Sounds like winter is approaching us all. Sigh..... not my favorite time of year. It hasn't been too bad here yet, but we know it's coming. We've been trying to get things goiing on building another bedroom. We have this enormous garage that we can put a decent sized bedroom and bathroom in, and still have room for 3 cars, a smallish workshop area, and a mudroom/entry. The room needs to be done by Christmas break, so dd1 has an actual place to cache her stuff. (We're actually getting the new room, and the others are being shuffled.) I'm learning a lot about construction/design, but I just want it to be done. Patience is still not my strong suit.

Cheerleading competition tomorrow, and an early Thanksgiving at the inlaws on Sunday. (Not a lot of building going on this weekend...lol) I can't believe it's already time for the holidays. I would love things to slow down so I can breathe for a minute. I'm hoping to spend Monday and Tuesday doing that. Gotta love an extended weekend. Have a good one all.
