to say hello. I haven't been around much lately. To top it all off, the computer had some difficulties the last couple of days.

How is everyone doing? I will try to catch up on some of the details when I get some more time.

Glad to see you checking in Marla. How are things going? How's your dh and your mil? How are you doing?

I've been thinking about you guys too....my cyber-friends!

Things haven't been great lately. Besides's everyones emotional state (up and down), MIL has been going through a lot of tests. They still haven't determined exactly what is going on. They sent her for a CT scan today. Keeping my fingers crossed that what ever it is isn't serious.

DH's partner has gone downhill very quickly. He has been in the hospital a lot lately and I don't know if he will make it out this time.

((((Marla)))) I have been in similar shoes. When fil had made a brief good spell with his cancer, mil found out she had breast cancer. Sometimes all you can do is sit back and scream/cry!
I am not trying to make it sound like I know how you are feeling....just that if you ever want to chat, just let me know.

I am hoping for good news about your mil. I also hope that your dh's partner is not in too much pain and that his family is coping best they can.

Keep coming here for support! It always amazes me that although we don't "really" know each other, that this is the first place I often turn to when I need support.

Good to see you poppin' in. Sorry to hear your MIL is having health concerns but hope all the testing goes well. You will all be in our prayers.

MIL hasn't been feeling well for a couple of months. Since FIL passed away, she has been to a couple of drs. She has already had an ultra sound and a CT scan on her abdomen area. On Monday they are going to scope her. We are all very nervous and are praying for only positive news.

Again, thanks to everyone who has posted such kind words and concern... it really is nice to know that there are people around who care.
