Oldest ds has warts on his pointer fingers. We tried compound W and it seemed to work, but then they came back. We took him to the dr and he put something on them, but didn't want to do liquid nitrogen because he said it can be painful for kids and can permanently damage the fingernail bed. He told us to keep applying the Compound W and to keep his fingers taped. Again, this seemed to work and then they came back. I tried just leaving them alone, but they seemed to spread. Now we are trying some pads that you cut to fit and then stick on for 48 hrs. The pharmacist said they are more powerful. If they don't work I think we are back to the dr. Anyone else ever have this battle and what did you do? I have heard they typically will go away within a few years? but I don't want them to get out of control. My bil has warts ALL over his hands and feet - to the point that he is embarrassed by them yet he doesn't do anything about them. I don't want ds to get to that point. Anyone have any info???? PLEASE!!![]()

If this doesn't work for us I will ask our dr about the prescription - I wonder if it's something they would be able to give to a kid?
