I think my computer is getting ready to crash. Came back from the eye doc with DS and the log in box is on, like maybe we had a power
shortage..can't log in, get all sorts of fatal error messages, black screens, finally it goes to a weird
scan disk screen and basically tells me either this is a fluke caused by a power shortage or that my c drive is getting ready to crash!!!!!! oh joy! supposed to run scan disk every day and see what happens. It gave me the log in screen again tonite. It's almost like my surge protector isn't working and it keeps restarting.

so, if I am gone one day...remember me fondly!!!!!! LOL

I will miss you for sure! Get that thing fixed asap! We have had an enjoyable spring break. Today is the last day. Houston was the highlight of the week. What would I have done without your suggestions???

Well, dd is calling me again this am. She was to do a plaster of paris project. She has been waiting since Tuesday to do it!!

I know exactly what you're talking about! The same thing happened to my 'puter last year. It actually happened three or four times though before we actually had to replace the hard drive. Have one on hand, lol, so you can just stick it in and keep going! :0D

When our computer crashed a couple weeks ago I was L O S T without it and it was only down a day! LOL! IB would be lost without you, so maybe your prize for the most posts should be a new computer??!!

Unfortunately it finally did crash. It took a while though, maybe two weeks from the time it started giving us the fatal error blue screens and the pre-Windows scan disk. That one found some damaged sectors so we knew there were parts of the hard drive that were down.
