5 kids?

Ok.. A little about my hectic home life. I have 5 children. One is my stepdaughter.. She is 6, and has been through more then most adults in one lifetime... Her mother lost custody of her to her father {whom I am with} and she has very outrage fits of anger. She has put holes in her wall and kicks the walls when she doesnt get her way. She name calls, and is very aggressive towards my 9 year old son. She has been through an emotional rollercoaster in her 6 years.. and her behavior is understandable but how does one start the process of her letting go of that anger.. WITHOUT seeing a doctor or being put on some kind of med to make her quiet... Has anyone been in this situation before?

It sounds like she is very angry with the world and maybe the circumstances that arose from her time with her mum, no control of the situation esp if she has seen way to much in her short life.
I'm sorry I have no words of wisdom except to hang in there and see if you can find a way for her to let her anger out without hurting anyone, how about a sport, karate is a good one as it teach restraint and dealing with anger .... maybe?
